Say Hello to Our New Founding Induction Panel Members!

Charity Hall of Fame are delighted to welcome our new Induction Panel Members. They complete the Founding Panel of which the first Members were announced earlier in the year.

The Panel will be responsible for assessing nominations for induction into the Charity Hall of Fame, which opens its doors for Nominations on 28th June, with the first class of Inductees being announced in early 2025.

The new Members have been drawn from across the four nations of the UK and include a broad range of experience and skills of charities and wider civil society.

They are:

  • James Fletcher - Deputy Director of Development, Oriel College; Chair of the KFC Foundation (South East) 

  • Matthew Hickey - Founder of Social Intent Ltd (North West)

  • Janice Dent - Policy & Partnerships Manager, Newport City Council (Wales)

  • Rachel Adams -  Development manager, Dallaglio Rugby Works (South East)

  • Davina Goodchild - Corporate Partnerships Manager, Jo Cox Foundation (East Midlands)

  • Dr Thelma Okey-Adibe - Lecturer & EDI Lead, Glasgow Caledonian University (Scotland)

  • Cait Hall - Founder/CEO of Reverse the Trend (Northern Ireland)

  • Charles Perry - Former civil servant and charity Chair (Scotland)

  • Kate Hainsworth - Interim CEO, Children's Heart Surgery Fund; Trustee of Local Trust & the Young Foundation (Yorkshire & The Humber)

Welcoming the new Members, Charity Hall's Induction Panel Chair Malcolm John said,

"A warm welcome to the new cadre of panel members. I'm delighted to see the diversity of expertise, the commitment, the geographical representation and challenge which, I'm confident, you'll bring to our decision making."

Reacting to her appointment, our youngest Panel Member Rachel Adams said,

"It is an absolute privilege to be a member of the Charity Hall of Fame Induction Panel. I am incredibly passionate about shining a light on unsung heroes in the charity sector, and this Panel gives me the perfect opportunity to be part of something where we can tell their stories."

The new Members join the Founding Members appointed in March, they are:

  • Colette Harrison, (Panel Vice Chair) - Sector Support, Community Foundation Tyne & Wear (North East)

  • Tracey Herald - sustainability consultant and former CSO at Virgin Media O2 (South East)

  • Anne-Marie Waugh - Founder/CEO RollaDome (Greater London)

  • Sheila Jane Malley - Vice Chair at ROSA, former Director of Grants at BBC Children in Need (Northern Ireland) 

  • George Imafidon MBE - Founder/CEO, Motivez (Greater London)

  • Pat Samuel CBE - former senior civil servant and charity trustee (Greater London)

  • Dr Andy Williamson - Founder, Democratise (Scotland)

  • Caroline Diehl MBE - Founder of Social Impact Media; Founder of Social Founders Network; Founder & former CEO Media Trust; Founder & Together TV (Greater London)

  • Kelly Harris - Head of Engagement, Brook (Wales)

  • Amber Shotton - charity & development consultant; Chair of Trustees for SIDCN  - a Small Global Charities Network; former CEO of the FSI (West Midlands)
