Come and join Charity Hall's Induction Panel!


We're looking for experienced volunteers to join our first group of Founding Panel Members to help us select the UK's most outstanding community changemakers for the brand new Charity Hall of Fame.


Inspired by the iconic Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Charity Hall is here to celebrate those amazing people whose work has profoundly shaped our society, by establishing a lasting archive of their transformative impact to inspire future changemakers.


This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to an enduring legacy, recognising the highest impact changemakers from the past and present, starting in the UK with a vision to expand globally.


What We Need From You:

  • A passion for community coupled with a working knowledge of social entrepreneurship, or charities/voluntary organisations

  • Time available to assess nominations and attend online meetings (estimated at 6 per year, approximately 5 days in total) 

  • A commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion

  • A team player that’s able to listen to others and challenge/contribute 

  • A commitment to celebrating community changemakers and promoting Charity Hall

  • Live outside of Greater London


In this round of recruitment we are targeting people outside of Greater London, and are especially keen to hear from people based in the North West, Yorkshire & Humber, the Midlands, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland. Charity Hall is committed to reflecting our nation's rich diversity and we would particularly like to hear from young people that want to get involved.

The Role


As an Induction Panel member, you'll play a key role in selecting individuals and organisations whose incredible work makes them a candidate for induction into the Hall of Fame. 


Your responsibilities will include:

  • reviewing nominations using our digital assessment and scoring tools 

  • evaluating evidence of impact and innovation 

  • participating in discussions to decide on inductees

  • helping us to promote Charity Hall and representing our work collectively and individually 


You should bring an objective and person centred approach to decision-making, a commitment to celebrating community changemakers, and a willingness to collaborate with fellow panel members. Respect for others' opinions and the ability to engage in a constructive way are essential requirements.
