As CEO of MYTIME Young Carers since 2019, she has transformed the way schools and communities identify and assist young carers, helping them balance education with their responsibilities at home. Under her leadership, MYTIME has expanded from supporting 75 young carers a year to over 3,000, offering vital training for teachers, leadership programmes, and wellbeing initiatives that have reshaped national conversations about young carer support.

Through initiatives like the Level Up Programme, which has trained over 5,000 teachers and improved identification rates in schools, and the Making Memories Programme, which provides much-needed respite, Krista has helped young carers feel seen, valued, and empowered.
